JDP was founded after a challenging first publishing experience by CEO Sandra Ekpenyong. Determined to create a better path for authors, Sandra turned that negative experience into a powerful positive by establishing a publishing house dedicated to integrity, quality, and author empowerment. Every policy, every process, and every promise JDP makes was forged from that founding conviction.

Sandra Ekpenyong is the Founder and CEO of Joseph Dream Publishing, LLC and the Executive Director of Empowering Women Empowering Voices (EWEV). EWEV, along with Publishing Pitfalls, falls under World Harvest International Ministries, a registered 501(c)(3) organization. A forensic biblical scholar, prophetic author, leadership strategist, and podcast host, Sandra brings more than 25 years of corporate leadership in Healthcare IT and Software Delivery to the publishing world.
She is an ordained minister, a Voice of America panelist on the Chibok Girls alongside congressional representatives, and a sought-after voice on faith, leadership, and the power of purpose-driven publishing. Sandra leads the AWLO DMV Chapter and holds a Political Science degree with an Ethics minor from the University of Maryland.
Sandra has published 30 titles across multiple series and is actively working toward a catalog of 85 published titles by 2029, each one a testament to her conviction that every message deserves to be heard and every author deserves to be represented with the highest standard of excellence. Her publishing catalog spans Christian living, marriage and relationships, leadership development, personal growth, devotionals, poetry, and forensic biblical scholarship, positioning JDP as one of the most versatile and prolific boutique faith-forward publishing houses in the DMV area and beyond.
Her work as a forensic biblical scholar has produced landmark series including Living Off the Power of Your Oil, Biblical Dysfunctional Families, Unlocking the Deborah in You, and The House That David Broke trilogy. As a publisher, Sandra has guided first-time authors, seasoned ministers, executives, and visionaries through the complete publishing journey, including one whose JDP-developed manuscript was adapted into a feature film now streaming on Tubi.
Sandra's ecosystem thinking approach treats every book concept as a launchpad for workbooks, courses, card decks, devotionals, and digital products. This philosophy underpins JDP's entire publishing model and is the foundation of the Thought Leader Division, where platforms are not just published but architecturally built for lasting influence.
