Joseph Dream Publishing, LLC • Author House Division
Everything you need to know about submitting your manuscript and what awaits you on the other side of yes.
Who we are looking for, what we accept, and how the process works
Joseph Dream Publishing, LLC does not simply publish books. We publish voices that were built to shift atmospheres, challenge systems, and leave a generational mark. We are selective by design. Every author we accept becomes part of a covenant, not a transaction. We pour into your work the way we would pour into our own.
The JDP Publishing StandardWe accept a limited roster of authors each year. This is intentional. We do not process manuscripts at volume. We develop authors with precision. If you see yourself in the criteria below, we want to hear from you.
Your book is not just a writing project. It is a calling. You know who it is for, what problem it solves, and why it had to be written now.
Publishing excellence requires partnership. You are willing to meet deadlines, respond to feedback, and invest in the collaborative work of making your manuscript the best version of itself.
JDP publishes across a broad range of categories including leadership and professional development, educational content and curriculum, business and entrepreneurship, self-development, children's books, Christian living, biblical scholarship, relationships, women's empowerment, and more. If your manuscript carries a message worth publishing, we want to hear from you.
Whether you lead a ministry, host a podcast, speak professionally, or have an established social presence, you are not writing in a vacuum. You have people who are waiting on this book.
JDP is a premium boutique publishing house. We do not cut corners and we do not work with authors who want to. You understand that a professionally published book requires a professional investment.
All submitted work must be your original content. You retain your rights. We protect ours. Mutual respect for intellectual property is non-negotiable from day one.
Our acquisition process is thorough because your investment deserves clarity. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you submit to the moment you receive your decision.
Complete the Author Submission form on our Contact page. Include your manuscript title, genre, stage of completion, a brief synopsis, and your author platform information. Incomplete submissions are not reviewed.
Action: Complete the submission formOur acquisitions team reviews every submission against JDP's content standards, market positioning, and annual roster availability. We evaluate the concept, the author's platform, and the fit within our publishing catalog.
Timeline: 10 to 14 business daysAuthors who pass the initial review are invited to a one-on-one Publishing Consultation with our team. This is a working session, not a sales call. We discuss your manuscript, your vision, your timeline, and which publishing package best serves your goals.
By invitation only — scheduled after initial reviewYou will be asked to submit sample pages or a full manuscript for editorial assessment. This allows us to evaluate the writing quality, structural integrity, and editorial scope of the project before we commit to a publishing agreement.
Timeline: 5 to 7 business days after sample submissionUpon acceptance, you receive a formal Publishing Agreement outlining deliverables, timelines, rights, payment schedule, and expectations for both parties. We do not rush this step. You should read every line.
Agreement delivered within 5 business days of acceptanceOnce your agreement is signed and your initial payment is received, your project is officially activated. You are assigned your publishing timeline, your project milestones, and your point of contact for the full duration of your publishing journey.
Your publishing journey begins hereEvery JDP package is built to serve a specific stage of author readiness. From your first manuscript to your legacy brand, there is a path designed for where you are and where you are going.
Not sure which package is right for you? Your Publishing Consultation will clarify everything.
What we commit to you and what we need from you in return
JDP authors are partners, not passive participants. When we accept your project, we give it everything we have. We expect the same in return. These expectations are not suggestions. They are the foundation of a successful publishing relationship.
Every milestone in your publishing timeline exists for a reason. Missed deadlines cascade into production delays, release date shifts, and increased costs. We hold our deadlines and we expect you to hold yours. If a conflict arises, communicate proactively, not after the fact.
Your editor is your partner, not your opponent. Feedback is not criticism of your voice. It is the refinement of your message. JDP authors approach editorial notes with openness, respond within agreed timeframes, and understand that the best books go through the fire before they reach the shelf.
JDP will build your book. You must build your audience. No publishing house, boutique or otherwise, can sell a book that the author is not actively promoting. We expect our authors to show up for their readers on social media, in ministry, at events, and in every space where their message belongs.
All questions, concerns, and revision requests go through proper project channels. We do not communicate via personal social media, informal texts, or third-party intermediaries during an active project. Professional communication protects your project and our relationship.
Your payment schedule is outlined in your publishing agreement. Payments must be honored as agreed. Project work pauses when payments are past due. We handle all financial matters with complete transparency and we expect the same from our authors.
When your book releases, you become a public face of Joseph Dream Publishing, LLC. We ask that your public conduct, your author brand, and your communication with readers reflect the standard of excellence that defines every JDP title. You carry the mark. Carry it well.
